1 Φεβ 2006 · On my 2006 A3 2.0 DSG Sport I got the rarer OEM performance tires, the Dunlop Sport Maxx's. These are fantastic tires. Yes, they will barely last 20,000 miles, and if it was winter, I'd probably have to change them right now at 18K.

Hi, I have the same problem on my A3 1.8T Quattro Sport. Have you got any further with your dealer or Audi? My dealer denies all knowledge of the problem, dissapointing - I have had Audis for 10 years now. Did you register the issue formally with the dealer & Audi - I will.
still had problems with the A3, when i step on the brake and hold it till a full stop, at the end, the car will have a "click" feeling, you can feel it really strong "click" feeling when before it comes to fully stop. and when i start the car in the morning, cold or hot morning, the car will shake!! its like, shake for 2 second, stop and then shake again, then stop, before i put it in D gear ...

You know these 2 cars that we are trying to compare are 2 very different cars. And as far as sport goes, I would bet that the IS350 will make the TL feel like a Buick(maybe not that extreme, but you get the picture). WHat prices the dealer charges ultimately depends on supply & demand. It's kinda pointless to discuss that at this point in time.

And, IMHO, the long-term reliability of both the BMW & Audi are suspect.
