An estimated 6.3 million cases of depression globally are estimated to be attributable to ageism.

2021 World Health Organization Global Report On Ageism. A new report from the World Health Organization (WHO) states that one out of every two people are ageist – defined as negatively stereotyping against individuals based on their age.
