Alstership was established in 1992 and is a family owned company. We act as the exclusive chartering broker for a fleet of coaster vessels which are employed in the European trade carrying mainly bulk and break-bulk cargoes.
Today we manage a fleet of 9 multipurpose vessels that mainly operate in the pan-European market and are firmly positioned as a qualified service company for ship owning companies.
Alstership mbH & Co. KG. BAS is a medium-sized family owned and operated company that is specifically designed to provide technical management for cargo vessels. BAS has been operating in the international market since 2001.
Alster shipping resumed operations in 1924. In 1924, Alster shipping started with a new timetable. In addition to 14 overhauled ships from the old fleet, launches from the port were used, which were inexpensive and flexible to operate.
