あらすじ. 詳細は「#エピソードリスト」を参照. 型破りな弁護士・ 明墨正樹 は、犯罪者である証拠が揃っていても無罪を勝ち取ってきた。 明墨法律事務所に入所した正義感の強い若手弁護士・ 赤峰柊斗 は、当初彼のやり方に反発するが、同僚弁護士・ 紫ノ宮飛鳥 やパラリーガルの 白木凛 、 青山憲治 とともに裁判に取り組むうちに、明墨には真の目的があるのではないかと疑うようになる。 実は、明墨が無罪を勝ち取ってきた事件は、すべて12年前のある「一家殺人事件」に繋がっていた。 かつて検事だった明墨は、その事件で自白させた被告人・ 志水裕策 に死刑判決が下されるが、同期の検事・ 桃瀬礼子 から警察や検察の不正による冤罪と教えられ、今度は弁護士としてその判決を覆そうとしていた。
