June 2022. Apex Crashing on Launch. Since the most recent update, Apex has crashed after launching, and I have been unable to log in and play. From steam, I initiate the game, the launcher starts, the anti-cheat runs, and then when Apex starts to run, it does not appear and the program shuts down on its own after 5-10 seconds.
For now, players have found a few workarounds. Open Device Manager and expand the Display adapters. right-click on your NVIDIA graphics card under this category and then select Properties. The Device Properties dialog box will now pop up. Select the Driver tab, and then click on the Roll Back Driver button.
