Apollo 10 (May 18–26, 1969) was the fourth human spaceflight in the United States' Apollo program and the second to orbit the Moon. NASA, the mission's operator, described it as a "dress rehearsal" for the first Moon landing (Apollo 11, two months later [4]).
List of Apollo astronauts. As part of the Apollo program by NASA, 24 astronauts flew nine missions to the Moon between December 1968 and December 1972. During six successful two-man landing missions, twelve men walked on the lunar surface, six of whom drove Lunar Roving Vehicles as part of the last three missions.

The Apollo 10 mission, which lifted off on May 18th, 1969, was a complete staging of the Apollo 11 mission without actually landing on the Moon. The liftoff marked the fourth crewed Apollo launch in the short space of seven months.
