After a student selects Accelerated Reader on the Home page, he or she can take Reading Practice, Vocabulary Practice, Literacy Skills, and Other Reading Quizzes. To see a video demonstration of how students take a quiz, click here. Students should take quizzes within 24 hours of finishing a book.
Accelerated Reader (AR) is a computer-based reading program designed to promote and enhance reading skills among students of all ages. Developed by Renaissance Learning, AR provides a vast collection of leveled books across various genres, allowing students to select texts that match their individual reading abilities and interests.

How Students Log In. Note: To see student user names and passwords, on the Home page, select your name, then Manage Apps & Users. Select Users and then, on the Students tab, select Password Report. Use the drop-down lists to choose the class (es) you want to see and how students are grouped.
Accelerated Reader, at its heart, is simple. With Accelerated Reader, a student reads a book, takes an online quiz, and gets immediate feedback. Students respond to regular feedback and are motivated to improve their reading skills.
