If, for any reason, you can't run it, try booting in Safe Mode and doing it from there. Anyway, boot after that. 4. Run the avast! Uninstall Utility saved on 1.

So I called the Avast help number & the woman told me to just download Avast & insert my existing licence number or licence file. However, she had a heavy accent & I found her hard to understand. So I did not ask how to find the number or file.

14 Νοε 2005 · this is my first posting in this forum. I come from Germany and I use Avast i.e. after a download with the Firefox internal download manager. There is an extension for firefox "download scan" with an option to activate an antivirus scanner after download. When I activate the scanner with ashQuick.exe as you have already mentionend, it doesn't work.

I loaded Avast Internet Security 2015 and it is causing blue screen and random reboot issues on two of my three PC's. One PC I rolled back to an earlier restore point to get back to Avast 2014. The other I un-installed Avast Internet Security 2015. I need to reinstall Internet Security 2014 on this PC.
