The only issue I've ever had with them was a bottle of film developer that leaked in shipping, but didn't escape the bag. 13 Σεπ 2022 · Story time. I recently (May 2022) bought a used Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8 II L for my workplace. We were required to buy from B&H, as they are an approved vendor. First lens we bought was advertised as graded "9", cost $1468. It had some pretty noticeable cosmetic damage; lots of scuffs and marks on it.
9 Αυγ 2016 · B&H is 100% legit. Sorry that happened to you, but either they suffered a massive breach (unlikely, I'd have heard of this by now), or something else fucked up on your end. My worst experience with B&H is that I forgot to spend my gift/rebate/rewards card thing and lost like $20 :( Seriously though, great site.
Do not also forget that this is a store card - so by using this card, B&H avoids the 2% to 4% transaction fees that card issuers charge merchants. Between that and some kind of fees splitting arrangement with Comenity, B&H is able to recover enough (by way of no transaction fees and fee splitting) to cover the sales tax.
