IXL has caused disruption in sleep schedules and the ridiculous and sometimes multi-stage workloads seem torturous to overcome for any and all that are required to complete them.

25 Απρ 2024 · IXL is probably one of the worst things I have ever come across as a student. In homework and in classroom this app causes extreme anxiety and even some symptoms of depression. And I know I'm not the only one. I have asked my peers at school about it and they have all said the same exact thing.
My daughter, who by all accounts is a decent student, is struggling BAD with IXL math assignments. Literally every night one of us ends up in tears. It is punitive - every time she makes a mistake it sends her backwards.
I recently bought a IXL package for Math, it is absolutely horrible. I cannot describe how bad it is. The home screen is very complicated and messy (it takes 10 minutes to find the right lesson).
