We offer two ways to find patient eligibility information — by logging into our secured provider portal or by calling Provider Inquiry, an automated response system. Provider Inquiry is for registered, nonregistered and out-of-state providers.
The provider self-service application is available on the BCBSM provider portal. To access the portal, go to bcbsm.com and select the I am a Provider tab. Log in using your BCBSM portal ID.
Credentialing is a verification process that proves you have the appropriate license, education, insurance and other qualifications necessary for your provider type. It's also part of the process of joining our network and enrolling as a new provider.
