Since 1950, the BPJ has sustained a tradition of publishing and supporting emerging poets, writers from historically resilient communities, and underrepresented poets. We always offer a fee-free submission option as part of our ongoing efforts to become a more equitable and just publication.
All submissions will be considered for publication, and the winner will receive $1,500. Submissions will remain open through April 30. For more details, see our guidelines .
