INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER -> Simple FREE AND ANT DOWNLOAD MANAGER -> SUPPORTS TORRENTS JDOWNLOADER -> Supports Debrid Premium Services based download with several predefined plugins. QBittorrent 😅.
24 Νοε 2023 · I am looking for a download manager for windows. I have heard of some options but I do not know which one is the best and would like recommendations.
IDM all the way. Very customisable, extentions for most browsers so that it automatically takes over the download so the browser can be closed while the download takes place. Also downloads video by placing a small blue button so you can download in one click. I have used it since I can remember, 7 years at least.
23 Απρ 2022 · I prefer XDM but I have heard IDM is good too. FDM is the best imo, since it offers everything for free. You can pirate IDM's software which is even better. On Linux, aria2 would be minimal and efficient, unless you want with GUI then FDM would be a good choice. I use uGet.

20 Μαΐ 2022 · IDM. Not free but cheap for one PC forever. 30 days free trial. Check out FDM (Free Download Manager). Yeah, the one that comes with your browser. Thats the only download manager you need. Its the only one you will ever need. No one needs anything more than that. InternetDownloader. Used it daily for years.
From what I'm getting IDM and others like it where eventually outclassed by programs like qBittorrent and µTorrent. Seems like the Download Managers where useful for when 40+GB things like games where all on Mega and stuff and now they're on TPB and RARBG so the torrent clients ended up trumping the "Download managers"
19 Ιαν 2022 · if it were a scam (idk the software) it would either put a virus in the thing that everyone is gonna download or it would make the full version just the same as the trial version or marginally better (ie scamming you by taking the price you bought it for for no return on your side) just make sure you download it from a trusted source.
13 Μαρ 2022 · Either A- Drag the file into the FDM window in the section that says "Download list is empty. Add new download URL." or B- Left click the file and select "copy link address" If A- a window should pop up with the file you want to download and the location you want to download it to. Just select your desired download location and press download.
