I just finished reading 'I'm Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59' and 'The Steve Jobs Way'. I loved the firsthand insight. All of the Microsoft/Bill Gates books I'm seeing are written from 3rd party perspectives.

My applicant pool was over 54,000, making it the most competitive at the time (I believe the 2014 cycle had over 60,000 applicants). I was able to meet some of the most impressive and ambitious high school students ever after winning the scholarship.
