Just spoke to Richer Sounds where the TV and Sound Bar are from, they suggest, plugging the BT box directly into the TV and just using the HDMI ARC for the Sound Bar. Anyone have any thoughts on whether that would be a better or worse solution?
11 Δεκ 2023 · If the latter it could be the auto answer setting is turned on. So the call is actually answered when you lift the phone & then pressing the green button turns on the speaker. This is described on P,25 of the manual. If not that then try a reset of the handset, described on the same page. 1 Rating.

I contacted various charities relating to hearing difficulties and RNID referred me to a company connevans.co.uk who are specialist suppliers for equipment to help the hard of hearing. They have done tests on various landlines which will connect using bluetooth however they cannot recommend a landline ...
11 Ιαν 2020 · I think it is due to overzealous power saving in the sound bar that mutes the sound during quiet parts of a film etc. You'll find that if you switch to your TV speakers when this happens, the sound is normal. BTW sorry for the necro bump. I realise this is an old post but Internet searching for a solution to this problem brought me here.

9 Σεπ 2024 · Yes, you have to switch to the button on it which you have programmed to the tv to switch off the tv, and the button programmed for the bt box to switch that off. 22 Αυγ 2024 · Just answer the questions it asks and it'll get you where you need to be. Remember the lines are pretty much only open between 8am and 9pm so if you call outside those hours it'll likely direct you to other help such as the website. If its a broadband issue you've got you could also try the SMS system to get one of BT's people to call you instead.
