Robert Reynolds Jones Sr. (October 30, 1883 – January 16, 1968) was an American evangelist, pioneer religious broadcaster, and the founder and first president of Bob Jones University.
Bob Jones was altered by the American Purity Foundation into Captain Rectitude. His biological drives were sublimated into an anti-smut instinct making him speak and act quite oddly, which better served his boss, Jasper Keaton ’s motives. His first public appearance was when the American Purity Foundation held a convention in Las Vegas.

Bob Jones (Grand Dragon) James Robertson "Bob" Jones (July 26, 1929 – April 16, 1989) [1] was an American white supremacist political activist who was active in the Ku Klux Klan in the 1950s and 1960s. He was Grand Dragon of the North Carolina Knights of the Ku Klux Klan from 1963 until 1969, when he was sent to prison for contempt of Congress.
In 1930 he capped off his triumphs in championship golf by doing something no one had done before or has done since: he won all four of the major golf tournaments of that time, an accomplishment that came to be known as the Grand Slam.
