The bomas of Kenya was an excellent and entertaining stop in Nairobi. The grounds includes a restaurant and around 20 traditional homesteads where you can see how various tribes around Kenya live. I spent around an hour at the homesteads.

Bomas of Kenya is a must-visit destination for all visitors. It offers “Kenya in miniature!” The facility is approximately 10 km from Nairobi CBD, 1 km past the main entrance of Nairobi National Park, and neighbors to Galleria Shopping Mall.
The Bomas of Kenya opening hours run from 11.00 am to 12.30 pm on Friday and Tuesday and from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm on the other weekdays. It opens from 3.30 pm to 5.15 pm on weekends and holidays. One must present an identification document to access the Bomas of Kenya.
