This antebellum era plantation is one of the oldest living, working plantations in the country. Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens is on Wampacheeoone Creek in Mount Pleasant.
Boone Hall Plantation is a historic site in Mount Pleasant, SC, founded in 1681 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It features a colonial revival mansion, a brick alley of oaks, and a slave street with nine cabins.
Admission to Boone Hall, a continuously working plantation from which everything from bricks to peaches have been coaxed over the centuries, includes the live performance plus tours of the slave cabins, the main house, ancillary structures, and a wagon ride across the entire property.
