First Citizens has signed an agreement to acquire Butterfield Bank Barbados Limited, a subsidiary of Bank of NT Butterfield and Son Limited. The acquisition, pending regulatory approval, will cost First Citizens’ US$45 million “subject to normal adjustments”.
