This is a big loss because they posted translations of Japanese roms that would be unplayable without knowing Japanese. They offer you a way to join the site, via discord or email which I have yet to try. 1.
7 Απρ 2024 · CdRomance has been around longer than most people here have been emulating, it's fine. Emulation in general pops false positives on virus scan at an absurd rate, I blanket excepted by dedicated emulation drive years ago because every third file pops a false positive otherwise, including programs I know for a fact are safe and have been using for years.

I prefer cdromance because they tend to showcase new releases and provide prepatched rom hacks and translations. Archive is cool but I don’t normally browse for new release on there. I may browse collections but normally I google a title that leads to archive.
9 Οκτ 2023 · As for false Virus Notification, probably it's something messing up your Defender like a hidden file that acts as a Virus aswell as in the Registry Editor. To check what it is, try with "adwcleaner.exe" on the official Malwarebytes Webpage. This one is basically a little tool from Malwarebytes that detects bad behavior once you press start scan.
3 Νοε 2022 · Cdromance is way better then Vimm’s Lair its faster then it is on vim’s download speed it takes forever so CDromance is my go to :) IF Vimm’s wasn’t so slow to download, then Vimm’s due to their inventory. There’re apps I know, but direct download speeds are like that from archive.
10 Ιουλ 2020 · Definitely gotta say cdromance is one of the best i have downloaded over 1.5 TB of games for the ps2 from them and my pc is running fine highly worth using not to mention you can easily download more than one game at a time just duplicate your tab beforehand as if it denies that attempt you have to find that game again.
27 Μαΐ 2022 · Cdromance is still better, it has a lot of hacks, translations, undubs, re-translations etc, all being updated daily for an extensive range of retro consoles. And it has awesome download speed even though you download directly from the site, and no wait 1 hour or premium bullshit.
