To be precise: you'll get the (one) special character that indicates a table, but not the table contents and you'll get the (one) special character that indicates a foot note.

6 Ιουν 2022 · Doesn't seem this should be so difficult. In one of the multitude of threads I read, a user made a good point: if Adobe Pro is calculating the number of characters being entered in a character constrained field, why can't this be displayed? Duh, Adobe!

13 Μαρ 2024 · Laid atop the bottom half is a scale printout of our text, same column width (not it Scala but Calluna Sans, 9.9 pt, tracked 1 unit wide), averaging 87.8 characters a line, 3 characters more. As a visual test, covering up 3 characters on either side brings the line — suprisingly so — into a more comfortable readability.
29 Ιουλ 2024 · Export an InDesign document as a PDF. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat. Export as a Word document. Open in Word and select Word Count from the Tools menu. The number of words appears in a dialogue box. I tested both methods. I had a document with 3942 words but the search & replace method only showed 3009 spaces.
