11 Νοε 2020 · Children of Dune comes to UK Blu-ray courtesy of Signature Entertainment, with a very impressive remaster indeed, likely looking far better than it ever did on broadcast, and far better than it has any right to look. The disc presents a 1080p/AVC-encoded image framed in the TV show's original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.78:1 widescreen.

Judging by the stunning box-office taking for Part 2, Part 3 is almost certainly going to happen. The only thing with this is that Dune 2 was filmed digitally (not on 70mm IMAX stock) & was then transferred over to 70mm.

30 Αυγ 2021 · The movie just covers the events of the first book, it doesn‘t touch Dune Messiah or Children of Dune. Even then most of the movie barely covers the first half of the book. Although the early scenes are pretty faithful, it’s the horribly edited last 40 mins or so which cram the second half of the book into an almost random montage.
