Christmas movies are a dime-a-dozen. I mean, let’s be honest, there is an entire channel dedicated to showing Christmas movies year round (I’m looking at you Hallmark Channel). Many often feel overly familiar: someone who really hates Christmas or has a bad relationship with Christmas goes on some kind of journey and finds the “true” meaning of Christmas.

10 Νοε 2023 · Christian movies have come a LONG way since Bob Jones University tried making them, but as bad as those were, at least they were faithful to the Bible. “Journey to Bethlehem” takes this genre back to BJU days. It is so bad it could only be described as sadly hilarious. What a wasted chance to present the story seriously and accurately!

Forget all the rubbish movies that Hollywood has churned out over the years this time of year, this is a movie to see this Christmas! The story starts well, setting the scene with a verse from Jeremiah, which revolves around the prophecy of Jesus’s birth.
An animated Christmas movie with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus, angels, shepherds, magi, and King Herod, instead of elves, Santa, etc. Imagine that! A colorful, fun, humorous movie that depicts the account of the events surrounding the birth of Jesus, depicted from the animals’ perspective.
20 Νοε 2015 · The overall Christmas theme is played out, and the film, as a whole, has some nice moments of cinematography along with a smooth flowing story, with a blend of sentimentalism. “The Night Before” may not contain hard, R-rated material throughout, but its moments of sexual content, graphic nudity, and obscene language are sure to scar some audiences .
Plus, carols, games, coloring pages, reviews of Christmas movies, and more. The tale of “A Christmas Carol” has been viewed as an indictment of the industrial revolution and capitalism in the early nineteenth century and has been credited with returning the holiday to one of merriment and festivity in Britain and America after a period of sobriety, somberness and repression.
That being said, it is so great to hear “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” and “Silent Night” being sung in this movie. We don’t hear these types of Christmas songs much in Christmas movies these days. In the meantime, the film’s main messages of kindness, love, selflessness and forgiveness are definitely worth cheering for.

It made this reviewer thankful for a father who was always involved and proud of his son no matter what he did, and that’s irreplaceable. Merry Christmas, Pops.
