The America the Beautiful quarters (sometimes abbreviated ATB quarters) were a series of fifty-six 25-cent pieces issued by the United States Mint, which began in 2010 and lasted until 2021. [1]
The America the Beautiful Quarters® Program celebrated a national site from each state, territory, and the District of Columbia. From 2010 to 2021, the U.S. Mint made a total of 56 different quarters! Each reverse (tails) showed a scene from a national park or forest.
The 50 State quarters (authorized by Pub. L. 105–124 (text), 111 Stat. 2534, enacted December 1, 1997) was a series of circulating commemorative quarters released by the United States Mint. Minted from 1999 through 2008, they featured unique designs for each of the 50 US states on the reverse.
23 Δεκ 2023 · America the Beautiful quarters were a series of national park and historical site 25-cent coins released as part of a 12-year US program from 2010 to 2021. The quarters commemorated many of America’s majestic national parks on collectible circulating coins beloved by history-buff and nature-enthusiast coin collectors.
