Hi all! I plan on writing my common app essay this summer (starting it soon) + was looking for help with it. (I am willing to pay for help if needed). I feel really stuck with finding something to write about. I really don’t have too many exciting things that happened in my life. I have an identical twin sister + my parents are divorced.

How do I do the math to calculate this? Right now I've multiplied the hours spent per week and the number of weeks, added that together for every activity, and then divided the number by 52.
23 Ιουν 2021 · 23 votes, 13 comments. true. in my experience, the QB app fit me better than the common app. i think it comes down to which facet of your app is stronger: writing/essays or ECs. if writing is a strength of yours, you may be better off with the QB app. if ECs depict you better (re: you have more than 6), go with the common app. since i live in a rural/under-resourced area, i had only 4 ECs and ...

It will save lots of frustration on the Common App. (Tools > Word Count > Character Count) Use phrases that begin with strong verbs. Focus on putting what you did as much as possible in the first two categories (a, b).

If you think you'll go over the limit do as many school-specific and coalition app schools as possible before doing your common app-only schools. There is no logical reason for 44 college applications whatsoever. Anything more than 20 is bordering absurd and wholly unnecessary.
