This weekly report provides a snapshot of data on the impact of COVID-19 in residential aged care facilities nationally. The report includes data on the number of services impacted and number of staff and resident cases, as well as workforce, vaccine rollout, testing and PPE provided to services.

Residential aged care homes must report all resident, worker and visitor COVID-19 cases through the My Aged Care Service and Support Portal. This data is important for us to maintain a view of current COVID-19 cases in homes, so we know the level of support needed for the sector.
31 Δεκ 2020 · As at 3pm on 31 December 2020, a total of 28,408 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Australia, including 909 deaths, and approximately 217 active cases. Over the past week, there have been an average of 21 new cases reported each day. Of the newly reported cases, the majority have been from New South Wales.
