26 Ιουν 2020 · CPU utilization depends on what you have open in the background, download speed, any compression, encryption and other extra processing involved on top of the basic bit-pushing, CPU performance, etc. On my i5-3470, idle CPU usage is 8-10% and ~4% of it is Task Manager itself.

11 Ιουν 2017 · All the temps look good im afraid. And now its not just when i download things, when i open a browser and new tabs the browsers CPU usage skyrockets taking up around 70-90% of the CPU. It's just the first like 10 seconds though, then it settles to like 7% again, until i press something on the page that is, then it goes up again.
30 Μαρ 2017 · So the problem is that when i download something, CPU Usage is 30-50%, even spikes to 80%. My CPU is a i3 3240, and my internet plan is gigabit, and I believe my cpu bottlenecks the internet speed, because my internet speed doesn't go beyond 400 Mbps(when it reaches about 400 Mbps, my cpu is at about 80-90% usage, it should go to 940 Mbps.
19 Δεκ 2018 · 100% CPU usage is normal when the CPU is working hard. I’m not sure what games you usually play but anytime your cpu can’t keep up with your gpu you will see 100% usage in games. The i5 8400 will not overheat at 100% usage unless you’ve messed with the cpu cooler settings or have it completely choked down in some zero airflow case or similar situation.
9 Μαρ 2015 · How are you measuring the CPU temperature? At 100C, the system should be throttling back significantly (if not shutting down) to prevent damage. Are you sure the temp isn't 100F? If this is accurate, you do seem to have a possible heatsink/thermal compound issue. First, make sure the heatsink a securely fastened to the CPU.
30 Μαΐ 2020 · a new spinning hdd will maintain about 50 MB/s in my experience. the GB connection can easily top 100 MB/s, so the hdd is very much going to slow down the process. if you have enough ram, it should buffer there so the download stays moving, but in the end it still has to wait for the hdd to write the files.
