Crunches don’t have that problem but their problem is that it’s hard to make them more intense and difficult to make the core actually stronger. Dragon flags, reverse crunches, hanging leg raises and hollow holds are better options for the core in my book.
Cable crunches, with enough weight to require sets of only 10 reps or so Ring grip push ups, and even ring grip planks, have a great effect on the abs, in a pretty short time. L sits- although these are boring, if you do them with weights on you ankles, their quite effective in a short time.

I haven't completed the achievement & plan to reach the achievement. i feel a bit ''empty" if that achievement isn't achieved hehe~
31 Δεκ 2021 · Then there's the question on the volume of crunches you perform. You need variation in your crunches, otherwise you'll end up using your neck and lumbar to perform the movement when your core is fatigued. Trust me, I've been there. Alternatives are leg raises, bicycle crunch, double crunch (perform this sitting).
Ab muscles are there for stability, not power. Doing crunches with a pause at full contraction is going to be more beneficial of increasing their purpose. Sit ups aren't bad inherently, but comparing them to a lot of others you get a lot more benefits from less "work."
2 Σεπ 2010 · If you don't like ab wheels and want something ab-like that's harder than planks, do dragon flags or hanging leg raises. Abs work MUCH harder when moving your legs than when they're moving your head and shoulders! Crunches are bad for your spinal disks, and sit-ups are more of a hip-flexor exercise than an ab exercise.
20 Φεβ 2022 · so i just got offline crunches 1/50 and offline blc 2/50, and wanted to know about how these work. from what i figure, if i turn the game off and leave it for 60 minutes, offline blc will activate 60 times, thus giving me 2% of my highest BLC at a time. assuming i leave it for 60 minutes, i get 120% of my highest BLC in 1 that hour from that hour.

For years I've been doing crunches the wrong way for years, and I've only yesterday learned about how to do it correctly, but after 10 or so repetitions, I can't lift anything other than my neck, and my abs are not even hurting, as though doing crunches excercises everything in my body except my abs.
13 Ιουλ 2015 · Something that has been bothering me lately is my inability to do even a single crunch. By that I mean if I am lying on my back on the floor I can't seem to raise my torso.
7 Μαΐ 2019 · Don't do crunches every day, you can develop muscle imbalance. Crunches doesn't work all parts of your abs. There are many amazing core exercises you can mix and match, like leg raises, star crunches, etc. Make sure you also do exercises for your lower back so you don't develop muscle imbalance (Such as a Back-Bridge on a chair).
