  7. 21 Μαρ 2017 · The noun phrase "visual cue" is common. Here he turns it into a verb. "A nice colorful painting of a dinosaur" is a much stronger "visual cue" than a picture of bones. So people respond to it more -- and more people respond to it. I interpret it the same way #3 does. I am guessing, since "People visually cue off a..." isn't actual English.
