14 Ιαν 2021 · On my first try clicking Play in curseforge, I had to download minecraft launcher updates which took so long. I clicked Play in the launcher which had another downloading that also took so long (possibly because of my huge modpack), but only to end up with "Game Crashed". I attempted a second time clicking Play in curseforge and the launcher.
8 Ιαν 2021 · The Curseforge app doesn't start if you're offline, but the Minecraft launcher does. If there's a way to launch Curseforge modpacks with the native launcher rather than through Curseforge, then that's the only way to do it if you're offline and don't have other 3rd-party launchers already installed. I'm going through that right now.

31 Δεκ 2022 · Just installed a bunch of "lite" modpacks, encountered this "incompatible with launcher" error, so I uninstalled the launcher and reinstalled it. Now every instance says "incompaitble with launcher" when I try to play it. People who do not have much hard drive space for launchers or extra programs. The guy who searches this up in like 3 years. People who love the Vanilla Launcher too much.
18 Ιουν 2021 · TL;TR: This is the full process to extract the Minecraft versions of the CurseForge Minecraft and set the instance to the Minecraft launcher. Locate Minecraft CurseForge folder and Minecraft folder Open CurseForge, go in the settings (Bottom left)/Minecraft and get the "Minecraft modding folder", You can click on "change" and then copy the link on the top of the page.

27 Ιουλ 2022 · CurseForge has shown it is willing to remove any problem mod, no matter how popular it is (ex. PlusTIC's ban code debacle). Plus theres a literal company that could be sued, rather than a list of online usernames. Pretty much all of the apps I listed use CurseForge's CDN. CurseForge itself and FTB have 1st party access to it.
