30 Ιουν 2022 · The "Design Ideas" button has been missing for me since today. It shows up on PowerPoint Web and it shows up on my Laptop, but it doesn't show up on my Desktop. All of them use the same account (subscription Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise) and I have Version 2206 (Build 15330.20196 Click-to-Run)
26 Ιαν 2022 · Hi Ayushi, I am Dave, I will help you with this. From the link below that Microsoft provides, the Design Ideas function is only available in the subscription based versions of office365, it is not available in Office 2021, it is also available in the free online version of PowerPoint.
11 Σεπ 2020 · Designer is not included in 2019. there have been several posts indicating that it was temporarily added (probably in error) and then later removed again. Hi, The Design ideas option (designer) has disappeared while making any PowerPoint presentations. I don't even have any option in my settings to turn on any designer.
When you click the Design tab in PPT do you see Design Ideas? If yes, try this. Start a new PPT. Insert a picture. It should start Design Ideas automatically. If it doesn't start, click Design Ideas. Finally, look under File - Options - General - See screenshot. You want that checked.

I am using powerpoint version - 16.64 (Microsoft 365 subscription) on my MacBook. I have looked at powerpoint preferences -> authoring and proofing tools -> ribbon and toolbar and it is still checked on there however doesn't show up ...

12 Ιαν 2018 · PowerPoint Designer doesn’t offer design suggestions while two or more users are actively editing the same slide. Make sure that the layout you’re using is either Title or Title + Content. Do not use any additional objects or shapes on the same slide as your photo. Use a maximum of four photos per slide.
23 Ιουν 2019 · The Design Ideas feature provided a nice design for a slide (Slide A) that contains a table. However, when I tried to get the Design Ideas feature to work for another slide with a table (Slide B), it says "Shapes aren't supported right now." Before being designed, the Selection Pane of Slide A showed Table, Subtitle, and Title.

Have tried all the solutions (checked privacy setting, changed the general settings, uninstalled and re-installed the office package, etc.), but to no avail. Kindly suggest another solution.
