Swan Falls offers many places to hike and explore along the south side of the Snake River. Visitors will enjoy canyon views, bird watching and smallmouth bass fishing on this hike!
9 Νοε 2014 · Swan Falls is a stop on the Western Heritage Scenic Byway. It's off the beaten path, but definitely worth the 30-45 minute drive from the Boise area. To get there, take exit 44 from I-84 and go south on ID69 (Meridian Rd.) for 7 miles through Kuna.
From I84 take exit 44. Travel approximately 7 miles south on S. Meridian Road continue left for 1 mile on E. Avalon. Turn south on Swan Falls Road and travel approximately 20 south to Swan Falls Dam.
10 Οκτ 2022 · Swan Falls is located along the Snake River about 20 miles south of Kuna, Idaho and is another great daytrip in the Treasure Valley. There are outstanding canyon views and good smallmouth bass fishing along the riverbank.
18 Οκτ 2024 · Get directions. Hit the trail. 382 photos. View ancient petroglyphs up close along the Snake River in Southwest Idaho. This is an all day hike. If you decide to use a mountain bike, it becomes a half-day ride. Walk across the Swan Falls Dam. Once across the dam, turn left and head upriver on the singletrack trail.
