The other day we were looking through the 1 star reviews, and apparently we quoted and charged a customer for an oil change and ultimately forgot to change the oil. Discount tire doesn’t do oil changes and that’s not in the system of things we can quote a price for, but it was an amusing review to read on a slow day.
4 Σεπ 2022 · I recently bought tires and wheels from Discount Tire and I had them install them. But I do my seasonal tire swap at Belle Tire. I don't like Belle Tire's selection of tires and wheels as much, and their website makes it much harder to put a tire and wheel package together than Discount Tire does. But Belle Tire does free life time alignments.
13 Οκτ 2021 · I used to work at discount tire, so I think it depends on the car you have. All wheel drive I would recommend yes. Cause if you end up needing to replace one tire you should replace all 4 so you don't mess up the transmission. So it will save you money on one tire if you need it. Really expensive tires, it can save you a lot of money if you use it.

10 Ιουν 2023 · Schwab is more expensive, discount tire is less, but their products lack quality and in the long run you pay more. If you have a Point S in your area I’d recommend them. They are a great middle of the road option. When I bought tires from them I heard they have more stores than both of the companies you mentioned
21 Δεκ 2020 · I'm looking to go to a tire shop and have them mount the tire to the wheel and install. A cursory google search indicates that the cost should be somewhere between $15 and $40 per tire. I've called three places for price quotes and they have come out as follows: "At least $45 per tire, but maybe more. Generally, it is between $45 and $95 per tire.

14 Ιουλ 2021 · Buying tires at Discount is about an hour's worth of wait. The basic warranty is the same at Costco's (prorated) but the Discount Tire "premium" warranty replaces the tire as long as you can still hold some part of it in your hand. Costco NEVER has the tires I need (It's a Toyota for crap's sake).
2 Ιουν 2023 · (Discount tire Cert is good for 3 years) If you buy from Discount Tire, the base cost is always cheaper and they price match everyone. But the Certificate added up quickly. I have 54k Miles on my OEM tire right now and will be changing at 55k , currently on 4/32 inches Tread.
The wear bars are at 2/32. Legally you can't drive at less than 3/16 (less than 5/32) during a winter storm so some tire places will claim that 4/32 is the "new bald" although they'll still prorate that 4/32 out of your mileage warranty if you try to cash that in. That's discount tire for you.
