Learn how to run a disk cleanup in Windows including deleting temporary and system files to free up disk space.
If your system doesn't have Storage Sense, you can use the Disk Cleanup tool to delete temporary files and system files from your device. In the search box on the taskbar, type disk cleanup, then select it from the results.

How hard can deleting files be? The Windows Update Cleanup option is doing more than just deleting files. It’s basically doing two things.
19 Σεπ 2024 · If the files still can't be removed, you can try with TrustedInstaller access using PowerRun, AdvancedRun, or my free Right-Click Tools. The performance issue you describe could be due to an aging HD or may be a software issue (or both).
