10 Ιουλ 2024 · This is still happening after upgrade to 4.33.1. I’d hoped it would be fixed. I’m pretty sure it’s screwing up, or the hacky “fix” is screwing up my persistent volumes - they are getting wiped out every time I restart my machine and have to restart Docker Desktop.

28 Αυγ 2024 · It was quite simple. I just needed to download the Docker Desktop for Windows - x86_64 from this link. Then, open cmd as an administrator, navigate to the folder where the installer was downloaded using the command: cd "folder_path" After that, just run the following command: start /w "" "Docker Desktop Installer.exe" install This worked for me.

As of Docker Desktop 2.4 (possibly earlier, I haven't tested) this is supported. From the Windows installation instructions: If your admin account is different to your user account, you must add the user to the docker-users group. Run Computer Management as an administrator and navigate to Local Users and Groups > Groups > docker-users.

19 Μαΐ 2022 · But by successfully adding the Docker repository to apt by following the steps in the Install Docker Engine documentation, it can now see and knows the docker-ce-cli package. And when you run the sudo apt install on the docker desktop deb package, it will now automatically install the docker-ce-cli along with other required dependencies.

Started Docker Desktop, but it was taking a long time. 7. Click the Bug Icon on Docker Desktop and reset to factory settings. 8. Run Docker desktop, it should start.
