13 Απρ 2021 · Dominical is my favorite area of CR. Sleepy surf town and a short drive to hikes with waterfalls. Really good places to eat too. Don’t pass it up. Dominical is a great little town with a similar vibe as ST. Zancudo is a hidden gem with a small expat community and maybe a dozen bar/restaurants spread out over a mile.
4 Οκτ 2010 · Dominical was hands-down my favorite place in my last Costa Rica trip. Very chill/laid back town. I HIGHLY recommend going to a burger/surf shop at the south end of town. They advertise the best burgers and it is TRUE! Also, the coke there is really good. :-) Also, I didn't get a chance to hike into the jungle, but you can rent atvs and do that.
7 Φεβ 2020 · Dominical or Uvita. Just heading down the Pacific coast and can't decide whether to stay in Dominical or Uvita. We have a car so will be visiting both beaches however wondered which had more in the way of restaurants and bars in the town for the evening to dump the car and relax. Many thanks! 7 Δεκ 2021 · Other suggestions for the area: -Nauyaca waterfalls - can spend a few hours here -Go north to manual Antonio for a day trip -Fishing out of quepos marina -diamanté verde tours for some fun ATV (in uvita - 20 min south of Dominical) -fuego brewery -explore some of the different beaches along the coast -Bahia ballena (whale tail) 2. 24 Ιουν 2022 · Use Waze or Google maps to orient yourself. The airport is in Alajulea. In front of the airport you can catch a Tuasa bus (comes ever 5 minutes) that will take you to San Jose. Get off the bus and walk (20 minutes) or take a cab to the Tracopa bus station. Buy the next ticket to Dominical (4:30pm or 6:40pm today).
30 Αυγ 2022 · We will be in the Arenal / Fortuna area for 5 nights 6 days and in Dominical for 2 weeks. Trying to find a rental car place to book from also but everything seems so outrageously priced. Drop me your suggestions ! As we’ve never been to Costa Rica before and hope to make it a trip to remember.
7 Ιουν 2024 · 1 week in Dominical in late July. Taking the family to Dominical in late July; 2 adults, 2 teens and an active grandparent. Current itinerary includes a trip to Manuel Antonio, surf lessons, water rafting, zip lining and a hike to the Nauyuca waterfall. Anything we shouldn't overlook doing?

23 Οκτ 2022 · Planning solo travel to CR in mid-Dec and trying to decide where to spend the week of Christmas. I’m a single 30-something female looking for a chill spot to lay on the beach, not super touristy, not too expensive, with yoga and good food. I’ve narrowed it down to these three, leaning towards Santa Theresa, but I’ve read mixed reviews.
19 Οκτ 2018 · I went to Costa Rica once for 15 days and I remember a lot of really variable road conditions and drivers that seemed to be not safety oriented. However since you aren't getting much help on this thread I would try to call some local bike shops and pick their brain. Also think about a supported and organized packaged bike tour.
