As soon as you finish streaming, your VOD is ready to go on your Desktop- no need to download anything off the internet. If you are looking to download other people's VODs- that I'm not sure. I use a program called 4K Video Downloader to download YouTube videos and Twitch Clips, but not totally sure whether or not it would work on full length Twitch VODs.

24 Ιαν 2024 · TwitchDownloader lets you download the VOD, and also lets you doqnload the chat in json, which can then be rendered into a visual chat video file (all within the same program). You then just combine the chat video onto the vod in a video editor.

9 Ιαν 2023 · The first one is the chrome exstension "Twitch Vod Downloader" which can be used to see 20 most recent streams, even if deleted. The second one being "Twitch Recover" which is a developled tool, being able download deleted VODs from the last 60 days. I am also familiar with the great tool "twitch-tracker" which can be used to get the exact VOD ID

29 Δεκ 2015 · I was looking to download a portion of a twitch VOD to look through the gameplay, but the whole broadcast is 7 hours long. I'm only interested in a roughly 2 hour clip that is in the middle of the video.
16 Νοε 2022 · streamlink and youtube-dl are both commandline tools that let you download a stream while it's still live, and have options for bypassing/filtering out the adbreak using some form of user authentication (either using an Oauth key, or browser cookies). streamlink-gui is the gui version of streamlink. streamlink is what I use personally.
I'd really like to be able to download a vod. I don't care if I need to pay or something, but I'd rather not have to just activate some recording software like fraps and then afk for hours on end because I might come back to it and hope it doesn't fill up my hardrive...
28 Μαρ 2020 · Is it still possible to watch Twitch VODs on a media player like VLC? EDIT: u/RaisenOx suggested updating to 3.0.10 (current version as of this post edit) which worked. Now I need to figure out why the vod plays at a standard definition quality instead of source.
