15 Μαΐ 2005 · Dumas Wellcraft’s 38 Scarab KV. I'm thinking of getting the 55"Dumas scarab, does anyone know about this kit, and how the build goes? It will be my first gas boat, thinking of a 25cc homelite engine from prather.
15 Απρ 2009 · 38' Scarab KV kit by Dumas --I built one a couple of years ago. The engine is an OS 90, 3 channel RC radio, has a 1/4 scale servo for the rudder, one servo for the throttle and one servo for the onboard needle control valve for the fuel. Ran on 40% nitro fuel.

8 Νοε 2010 · Dumas Scarab 38 KV 55. This is an unbuilt kit. All the parts to the kit seem to be there and very little has been started. It looks like all the instructions are still there, but they got a bit torn up. I will tape them back together prior to selling the boat.
24 Ιουν 2009 · I acquired a "new in the box" Dumas Scarab 38kV (55 inch) kit this week from a gentleman that actually owns a real Wellcraft 38kV Miami Vice Edition boat. I have been in communication with him, and will attempt to construct this boat as closely as I can to his boat, which is absolutely stunning!!
2 Ιουν 2019 · Later-Model Dumas Scarab 38KV > AVS Build. This was an RCG find unbuilt hull with the white gelcoat inside and the molded stringer insert. I like this newer version hull so much better! I decided to step the hull and make it the '98+ AVS version. Power will be Rocket 5692s 730KV on 10S with a Flier 300 Twin ESC.
