John Robinson (1922-2008) was an American artist renowned for his seascapes. Born April 14, 1932, in Grants Pass, Oregon, E. John grew up in Oregon. Education. He earned his bachelor's degree in education from the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California.
During his art career, he painted over 4,000 seascapes and had 30 one-man shows since he began painting. Many of his marine paintings now belong to private collections and galleries throughout the United States. He created the cover for four Readers Digest issues, including that of October 1976.
