26 Απρ 2013 · Having failed to access a website I was invited to 'refresh' the computer. This took about 5 minutes and when it had finished I discovered that several applications had been removed and the e-mail icon had disappeared. Is there a way to get this back please?
Are you referring to the email icon shortcut or something else? Work around: Try creating a shortcut for the email client in the desktop and check. You may run the fix it in the link and check.

In my experience, it only shows if Outlook is minimized or not in focus - if it is open on the screen and in focus, no envelope.
