The official ePSXe website offers downloads of the latest version for Windows, Android, Linux, and Mac.
From this version ePSXe can run games without an official PS1 bios. Compatibility is lower and memcards support limited. VERY IMPORTANT: Savestates done with a official PS1 bios are NOT compatible with savestates done with ePSXe HLE bios (Besides it uses a different namespace).

19 Μαρ 2018 · Look in the build bot for builds before "SIO Interrupts" were enabled for PSX mode and it will work, but you will lose memory card support. Some games such as Final Fantasy 8 will not see PSX memory cards in slot 2 if slot 1 is empty or a PS2 card. On the latest builds your PSX memory cards will appear as Pocketstation devices in the PS2 BIOS.
Download the latest version of ePSXe, an emulator for PS1 games, from the official website.
1) ePSXe101.zip is the official ePSXe pack, it includes the emulator (ePSXe.exe) and the folders that the emulator need. 2) You must to have a PSX bios, which you may only be in possession if you're legally entitled to.
22 Νοε 2018 · SIF2 is, to our knowledge, almost completely unused in normal PS2 operation and was never fully completed in PCSX2. However now we believe this plays a critical role in EE and IOP communication for PS1 games. Currently everything is just being blasted through DMA2, and this mostly works, but sometimes things just aren't right.
