Department of Economics and Management Sciences (DENMS) is one of art-based departments in the Centre for Foundation Studies IIUM. The department was among the first academic departments established when the IIUM Matriculation Centre started its operation at Subang Jaya Campus in 1987.

The Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS) was one of the first two faculties to be established when the International University Malaysia (IIUM) began operation in 1983.
The objective of this Foundation Programme is to prepare candidates for admission into various first degree programmes offered at the Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS). The duration of the program is one year, which consists of two normal semesters and one short semester.
