This executive order amends provisions of Executive Order No. 209, also known as the Family Code of the Philippines. It amends Article 26 to recognize valid foreign divorces of Filipino citizens married to foreigners.

This executive order amends three articles of the Family Code of the Philippines. It amends Article 26 to recognize marriages performed abroad as long as they are valid in the country where performed, except those prohibited by other articles.
