11 Οκτ 2010 · Basically, all it does is automatically replace all the unwanted line breaks with a single space, making all the text run together into a single paragraph: 1- copy the text you want from the PDF. 2- paste into a new Word document. 3- click “edit” then “replace”. 4- make sure you’re in the “find what” field.

Abiword can be called from the commandline to convert between any formats it can input from/export to, and with the appropriate import plugin, this includes PDFs: abiword --to=txt file.pdf. (In fairness, I think AbiWord and calibre both use the poppler libraries, but I'm not positive.) Share. Improve this answer.
7 Σεπ 2022 · The canonical (but difficult) way to extract text with JavaScript is getPageNthWord and getPageNthWordQuads. This gives you the text and position of each word, separately, one at a time. If your target layout is absolutely fixed, it can do a pretty good job. Otherwise, you are going to have to do a lot of guesswork.
22 Ιουλ 2020 · Sure enough, you can open the PDF in Chrome, click the top left menu / hamburger icon, click "Document outline", and copy/paste the bookmark text from there. Hope that helps anyone stumbling upon this question after googling the same thing. 🙂. 8 Upvotes. Translate.
3 Αυγ 2022 · Did you have the bottom checkbox checked? "Copy selected text into Highlight, strikethrough, Underline, and Replace Text comment pop-ups". If so, you can export the comments as an FDF file. Then change the extension from FDF to XML. Then open that file in Excel.
11 Οκτ 2018 · Export comments to a data file. From the options menu in the comments list, choose Export All To Data File. Name the file and choose Acrobat FDF Files (*.fdf) or Acrobat XFDF Files (*.xfdf) for the file type. Specify a location for the file, and then click Save. Hope this answers your query.
9 Αυγ 2012 · FontForge usually does not list pdf files (because they aren't really designed as mechanisms for transporting fonts and most such fonts will be incomplete due to subsetting and other optimizations), but you can always type in the name of one directly (or use the [Filter] button to define a filter for pdf files).
