You can use a one-time password to log into your Facebook account any time you feel uncomfortable entering your real password (such as in a library or internet cafe).
Two-factor authentication is a security feature that helps protect your Facebook account and your password. If you set up two-factor authentication, you'll be asked to enter a special login code or confirm your login attempt each time someone tries accessing Facebook from a browser or mobile device we don't recognize.
Open the Facebook app and enter your username and password. You'll see a prompt to log in with your security key. Make sure that you have your security key nearby. Tap Continue. Verify your security key by plugging it into your mobile device and activating it or hold the key near the top of your mobile device.
