27 Ιουλ 2020 · 2.8l v6 timing and firing order help. I bought a 93 s10 that seemed to run good, but took it for smog and its running rich, i started by doing a spark plug, wires, cap and rotor replacement, than changed out the map sensor engine temperature sensor, and installed new injectors.
10 Οκτ 2003 · The Firing order was wrong, REALLY WRONG. Forgot the exact order but it started 1-4- Book said 1-2-3-4-5-6 (1-3-5 rt bank 2-4-6 lt bank) plugged them in and it runs great. Iv'e heard of odd and even fire V-6s, just never messed with them much.
The firing order is as was earlier stated 1-2-3-4-5-6 with clockwise rotation. The number one plug is on the passenger side at the front of the engine. The passenger side is 1-3-5 the driver side is 2-4-6 ...
