The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides monthly benefits that help eligible low-income households buy the food they need for good health.
Feeding Louisiana, the state association of Food Banks, currently holds the CSFP contract with the State of Louisiana. Via the five Food Banks, they provide boxes of nutritious food each month to low-income seniors, many of whom live in isolated, rural communities.
