The Franchi SPAS-12 is a combat shotgun manufactured by Italian firearms company Franchi from 1979 to 2000. The SPAS-12 is a dual-mode shotgun, adjustable for semi-automatic or pump-action operation. The SPAS-12 was sold to military and police users worldwide, as well as on the civilian market.
22 Μαρ 2024 · The hook can be rotated 90 degrees to make it easier for the user to fire the SPAS-12 one-handed. At nearly 10 pounds, the SPAS-12 is difficult to wield with a single arm, but the hook helps to support the weight and allows the user to aim it at least somewhat effectively for close-range engagements.
The SPAS12 and SPAS15 are no longer in production and Franchi has changed hands since they stopped. Parts are becoming hard to get. These are the parts that seem to be in demand, but difficult to get. I'll also add the availability and last price I saw for each:

19 Οκτ 2022 · The SPAS-12 was a combination pump-action, semi-automatic, which featured a magazine cut-off that prevented another round from chambering while the action cycled. This allowed the operator to transition to a different type of round without first unloading the chambered round.
