Located on the Pamlico Sound/Intracoastal Waterway within Cape Hatteras National Seashore, Frisco Woods is a family-oriented waterfront campground. Enjoy our outdoor pool, windsurfing, kite boarding or launching your kayak.
Frisco Woods Campground is on Hatteras Island on highway 12 between Buxton and Hatteras Village. If you come from the south by ferry, take the Cedar Island Ferry to Ocracoke Island and then the Ocracoke to Hatteras Island free ferry.
All cabins have air conditioner, lights, electrical outlets inside and park style charcoal grill, picnic table & water spigot outside. All cabins do not have bathroom or kitchen facilities and you must provide your own bed linens. Check in for tent, camper & RV sites is 12:00PM and cabins is 3:00PM. Check out for all sites is 12:00PM

About 4 miles from the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse National Monument and some of the best surfing in the country.
150 RV sites, 100 tent sites, 32 camping cabins with AC. WiFi, hot/cold water, sewer hook-ups, electrical hook-ups, guest laundry, dump station. Open March - December 1.
