Here's what I'm considering: ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 GU603VV (GU603VV-G16.I74060) - 1920x1200, 165hz, Intel Core i7-13620H, DDR4, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060, price 1391$.

Mine used to last a decent amount of time, but now it barely lasts an hour, even when I'm not playing games. Sometimes the battery percentage just drops suddenly, and the laptop even shuts down when it says there’s still 20% left.
21 Ιαν 2024 · imo it's a very nice option for a gaming laptop. first thing I'd do, is try to hit +2500mhz on that gpu with a custom voltage curve in afterburner. acccording to tpu, the base 50w/1750w version of this card is as powerful as a gtx1070, the 105w/2350mhz should be a lot better. and it has dlss2 and dlss3 if the card struggles. 8 Οκτ 2024 · The laptops are 8 years old and our kids have been using them for the last 3 years. They mainly watch YouTube and play Roblox on them. One laptop recently broke (my son put a ziploc of ice on it to keep it cool to help with the gaming experience apparently and the water leaked when he left it so now it’s dead).

You could just pick up the model you looked at and return it if there's an issue for you. I've had graphics cards and PSU's that will do it occasionally when a game is on a menu and the FPS hits 1000's for example.
